Skyshotcaptures started with a drone from my grandfather, which resulted in my initial aerial shots in Mozambique. With a passion for drone filmmaking, I filmed events such as Liefde by die Dam, improving my techniques year after year. I eventually experimented with FPV drones, although the first was lost in the Karoo. Not one to give up, I filmed Kosmosfees with a new FPV drone, adding new dynamics of movement and energy. Skyshotcaptures continues to expand with every flight — the sky is our canvas.

One of my biggest projects. Liefde by die Nam 2024. Filmed with my Mavic Air.

I shot this project using my FPV drone, which captures footage in 4K or 5.3K. It features a professional motocross rider.

I filmed this video with my Gopro hero 10 attached to my custom FPV drone. Filmed at BuffelsBaai

A Namibian giraffe gracefully walking through the dry savanna of Namibia. Captured using my DJI Mavic Air drone.

This footage was captured using a GoPro Hero 10 mounted on my custom-built FPV drone. I was piloting the drone while filming professional Go-Kart driver Kobus Reyneke.

This video was captured using my custom-built FPV drone equipped with the DJI O3 Air Unit. It was filmed at the historic Christus Kirche in central Windhoek.
